About Heba
Coaching is my natural state of being. I’ve been a coach my entire life, long before it was coined a term.
My story is not unique.
Looking back it seems like each of my life experiences were like cobble stones that ultimately paved the road I’m on today.
Life and circumstance happened to me as it may have happened to you. I am a survivor of trauma and abuse from early on in my life. As a caregiver for a loved family member battling mental illness, I endured, by default, the stigma and shame associated with it. I survived a narcissistic relationship; experienced the pain of death, divorce, financial loss and significant health crisis as a result.
Change is the only constant.
We can’t control it but we can shape how we respond to it. The way we frame our lives and the choices we make next is what matters.
Embracing change begins with self-awareness, a centered mind, and a healthy, balanced lifestyle. From that place, I have seen how beautiful things can unfold, even when life feels hard.
Finding my Grace Compass has profoundly changed my life. Knowing that, all along, I had the courage to forgive my past and boldly step into my future.
I want that for you, too.
I want to help you design your next best chapter, experience a deep loving relationship with your self and others. Use your unique sense of purpose and passion to create a life you love.
There is nothing more magical than a woman who truly knows herself, feels inspired, and lives her life embracing grace.
Today I do more of what I love and worry less about what I cannot control.
It’s taken me years of introspective work to design the life I have. I’ve learned to let go of the past and release what’s no longer relevant, worry less about the future and just be present in the joys, and sometimes sorrows, of each moment. I now live a life by design and not by default. Let’s face it, life is so much more fun that way!
When I work with clients I always get to know what their values are, so it only seems fair that you know mine.
I value kindness above all else.
I thrive in big cities, and seek nature on the weekends. I am happiest when I am traveling internationally and exploring new cultures. I love driving the California coast, singing mostly off-key to very loud music, with my 16 year old cockapoo “Gracie” in the passenger seat. I value deep friendships, family and community volunteerism. I believe that an active body supports a healthy mind so I go to the gym, walk, dance and kayak sometimes. I can lose myself happily in a good book, especially if I am reading it on a tropical beach. Art feeds my soul. I am a season ticket holder of multiple local theaters, concert venues, museums and botanical gardens. I binge watch Netflix series and my love language is acts of service.
